When welding the top plate and edge angle steel of stainless steel storage tanks, the main welding seams should be symmetrically and evenly distributed, and segmented back welding should be carried out in the same direction. The inner welding seam should be welded first, and the outer welding seam should be welded later. For radial long welding seams, it is recommended to use a symmetrical welding method with gaps and segmented back welding from the center to the outside. Before welding, the assembly quality should be checked, and rust, moisture, and dirt within 20mm of the groove surface and both sides of the groove should be cleaned, and it should be fully dried.
When the defect depth or polishing depth exceeds 1mm, repair welding should be carried out and polishing should be smooth. Harmful defects such as scratches, arc scratches, and welding scars with a depth exceeding 0.5mm should be polished smooth. The thickness of the reverse osmosis pump in front of the polished steel plate should not be less than the nominal thickness of the steel plate minus the negative deviation value. The welding of stainless steel storage tank walls involves first welding vertical welds and then welding circumferential welds. After welding the longitudinal welds of adjacent two wall panels, the circumferential welds between them are evenly distributed and welded in the same direction. The welding of positioning welding and fixtures should be carried out by qualified welders, and the arc should not be on the base material or the completed weld bead.
